St Petersburg Russia - Part 4

This statue of the famous children's writer, Ivan Krylov, was unveiled here in the Summer Gardens in 1855. If you look at the base of the monument it contains bronze characters from his fables including monkeys, orchestral instruments, lions, bears, plants and goats.
